'STUTE PUT BRAKES ON SEASIDERS
Institute, struggling at the wrong end of the table, welcomed runaway leaders Bangor to the Brandywell and collected all three points in an impressive performance from Kevin Deery’s side.
Caoimhin Porter opened the scoring just after the half-hour mark with a finish in off the underside of the bar, with Mikhail Kennedy doubling up with a header early in the second half.
Patrick McLaughlin added a third with just under a quarter-of-an-hour remaining after keeper James Taylor had saved his initial attempt.
Ben Cushnie grabbed what was only a consolation for the visitors on 82 minutes with a finish from inside the area to the left of keeper Finton Doherty.
