HEALY STRIKE ENOUGH FOR BALLYCLARE
Ballyclare Comrades returned to winning ways with victory over Limavady United at The Showgrounds.
The visitors secured the points with what proved to be the only goal of the game after just seven minutes when Brian Healy got on the end of a ball over the top to finish into the bottom right corner.
The Roesiders might have levelled five minutes from the break when Stephen Lowry rattled the crossbar with a free-kick, but his afternoon was to ultimately end prematurely when he was dismissed after an hour for an off the ball incident.
Both sides had chances later in the game, with Darius Roohi being denied by home keeper Martin Gallagher whose opposite number Gerard Walker also did well to keep United at bay.
