FUN IN THE SUN FOR COMRADES
Ballyclare Comrades got back to winning ways against bottom placed Institute in the Playr-Fit Championship.
The Comrades took the lead with the only goal of the first half at the sun-drenched Brandywell on 35 minutes through Michael Morgan.
The visitors doubled their advantage on 52 minutes through Brian Healy who caught Fintan Doherty off his line to lob the goalkeeper.
Institute looked find a route back into the game when substitute Caoimhin Porter reduced the deficit on 68 minutes.
However, Ballyclare Comrades wrapped up the three points by restoring their two goal advantage through Brian Healy's second goal of the afternoon, who finished coolly under pressure.
The win moves Stephen Small's Comrades out of the relegation zone, but leaves Institute still searching for their first league win of the season and rooted to the foot of the standings.
