McNICKLE GOAL ENOUGH FOR CITY
Ryan McNickle grabbed the only goal of the game as Newry City defeated Ballinamallard United at The Showgrounds.
The Mallards might have gone in front after just five minutes when Noel Healy was adjudged to have committed a foul in the box but, from the subsequent spot-kick, Aaron Harkin could only look on as Conor Mitchell saved low to his right.
McNickle struck what proved to be the winner after half-an-hour when he latched onto a through ball from Donal Scullion to send a calm finish past Joel Little.
