ARDS HIT BACK FROM TWO DOWN
Ballinamallard United and Ards shared the goals and the points at Ferney Park.
The Mallards raced into a commanding lead with just over a quarter-of-an-hour on the clock.
Daniel Barker opened the scoring on nine minutes when he ran onto a long ball over the top to knock the finish past Marc Matthews.
Then, eight minutes after that, James McGrath outpaced the defence to double the home advantage.
Ards pulled one back ten minutes into the second half when new arrival Gary Donnelly, only on the pitch a matter of moments, got the final touch to turn a Mark Carson sweeping ball into the net.
And the visitors bagged their stoppage time equaliser through Eamon Scannell after he met a corner on the turn to send a half volley past Joel Little from six yards.
