XIMENES THE MAN FOR ANNAGH
Kenny Ximenes hit the late winner - and only goal of the game - as Annagh United defeated Bangor at the BMG Arena.
The 19-year-old, on loan from Dungannon Swifts, struck in the 83rd minute when he got on the end of a Craig Taylor cross to fire past the onrushing keeper to secure the points for Ciaran McGurgan's side.
Bangor had started brightly, and had produced a couple of early saves from Jason Craughwell to deny Howard Beverland and Matthew Ferguson.
Craughwell was called into action again early in the second half to deal with another Ferguson effort while, at the other end, Ximenes almost found a way through only to strike an upright.
The visitors might have levelled late in the game but Paul Finnegan was on hand to clear off the line, with Craughwell then producing another superb save in stoppage time.
