McLELLAN AND FERGUSON ON TARGET FOR WELDERS
Two second half goals saw HW Welders defeat Dergview at Darragh Park, a result that confirmed a relegation play-off spot for the home side.
Ivan Sproule's side enjoyed the better chances in the first half, seeing one effort hit the post, one cleared off the line and when they did find the net it was ruled out offside
The Welders came close too when Matthew Ferguson turned a header against the crossbar from around ten yards out.
But the deadlock was eventually broken early in the second half when Ferguson delivered a low cross into the box for Michael McLellan to smash low and hard into the net.
Welders keeper Jack Mills saved a spot-kick soon after but the game was eventually settled as a contest with just under a quarter-of-an-hour remaining after Ferguson got on the end of a defence splitting pass to double the Welders' advantage.
