DERBY HONOURS FOR MALLARDS
Two first half goals saw Ballinamallard United get the better of derby rivals Dergview at Ferney Park.
Daniel Barker edged the Mallards in front as early as the first minute when the bounce of the ball from his effort eluded visiting keeper Shane O'Gara.
Then, with around a quarter-of-an-hour on the clock Darragh Byrne doubled up to put Tommy Canning's side firmly in control against his former club.
United could have bagged a third early in the second half when, on the counter attack, Gary Armstrong saw his effort cleared off the line.
