Newington bagged a late equaliser to earn a share of the spoils with Dergview at Darragh Park.
The home side held the lead at the break after Joel Gibson found the net midway through the first half.
And that was how it stayed until three minutes from time when 17-year-old substitute - only on the pitch less than ten minutes - marked his debut for the Swans with the equaliser.
