BIG THREE POINTS FOR ARDS
Ards picked up a vital three points with victory over Dergview at Clandeboye Park in the battle to avoid being dragged into the play-off spot.
A low key scoreless first half was soon forgotten about two minutes after the restart when Lee Newell fired John Bailie's side in front after Ross Hunter had squared the ball into his path.
And that was how it stayed until two minutes from time when Michael Ruddy made sure of the points when he stepped up to score from the spot, awarded after Ethan Taggart had been upended.
