PORTS FIND FORM AGAIN AT FERNEY PARK
Portadown got their title campaign back on track after coming from behind to defeat Ballinamallard United at Ferney Park.
The Mallards moved in front on six minutes courtesy of Callum Moorehead's clinical finish past Gareth Buchanan.
The Ports attempted to hit back through Gary Thompson's glancing header, followed by Ryan Mayse's chip over the top.
But they did level seven minutes from the break when Jamie Browne delivered a low hard drive beyond Jamie Ray into the bottom corner.
Moorehead almost restored home advantage in the second half only to skim the crossbar, while Joshua McIlwaine was denied by Buchanan on the hour.
However, Portadown grabbed what turned out to be the winner on 72 minutes after Douglas Wilson found the net at the back post from a Mayse corner.
