ANNAGH CRUSH LEADERS DUNDELA
Annagh United swept to crushing four-goal defeat of Playr-Fit Championship leaders Dundela at the BMG Arena.
Annagh created all the early running, coming close on ten minutes when Eoin Teggart forced a save out of keeper Lewis Hunter.
They did move in front ten minutes after that, however, through Kris Calvert who connected with a James Convie lay-off to send a low effort to the right of Hunter.
Dundela might have levelled when an Ewan Kelly ball from distance was headed just over by Andy Hall.
But Annagh looked the more likely to find the net again, with Ruairi McDonald producing another stop from Hunter - with the visiting keeper called into action once more a few minutes after that to deal with a Conall Young drive from outside the area.
Annagh doubled their lead on the hour with Callum Ferris' first goal for the club after he beat the offside trap to run onto a Niall Henderson through ball and slot past Hunter.
And it was 3-0 midway through the second half after Convie combined with Young in a one-two to score from inside the six-yard box.
Darragh Stewart then completed the scoring with six minutes remaining.
