PORTS EDGE OUT COMRADES
Portadown came from a goal down to defeat Ballyclare Comrades at Shamrock Park and move back into second spot in the Playr-Fit Championship.
The visitors led at the break when Gary Donnelly sent Aaron Hogg the wrong way from the spot, awarded for handball in the area on 41 minutes.
However Portadown levelled ten minutes into the second half when Jamie Browne made the most of a defensive error before cutting inside to blast past Gerard Walker.
And Niall Currie's secured the points just after the hour when Zach Barr found the net with a neat finish, although the visitors might have snatched a point right at the end when Tomas Gilmour struck an upright.
