MALLARDS HIT 'BREDA FOR SIX
Ballinamallard United swept to a crushing defeat of Knockbreda at Ferney Park.
The Mallards moved in front just before the half-hour mark when a free-kick from wide on the left reached Callum Moorehead, and he brought the ball into the right side of the area before firing across Marc Matthews into the opposite corner in off the upright.
Josh McIlwaine added a second on 36 minutes after being played through by Darragh Byrne, but 'Beda hit back before the break when Marcus Murphy was teed up by Nathan Clarke on the edge of the area.
Simon Warrington restored United's two-goal cushion nine minutes into the second half following a mix up in the visitors defence, before James McGrath added a fourth three minutes after that when Warrington flicked the ball back for him to finish low in off the left post.
Byrne continued the scoring with a tap in just after the hour, with Nick Palmer rounding things off on 76 minutes.
