ANNAGH HIT FOUR PAST 'BREDA
Annagh United cruised to a comfortable defeat of bottom of the table Knockbreda at Breda Park.
The visitors moved in front on six minutes when Nathan Kerr stepped up to convert from the spot after James Convie had been upended in the area.
United then doubled their lead midway through the first half with a Paul Finnegan strike from inside the six yard box after Marc Matthews had pushed out Lee Upton's initial header.
Finnegan had the ball in the net again just after the half-hour mark but this was ruled out offside before 'Breda pulled one back through Marcus Murphy who pounced on the loose ball at close range.
Annagh restored their two goal cushion moments from the break after Jack Evans flicked a Craig Taylor throw into the net.
'Breda came close to reducing the deficit again early in the second half but Ashton McDermott saw his spot-kick saved by Jason Craughwell after the keeper had conceded the penalty for bringing down Murphy.
Thomas Burns completed the scoring six minutes from time when, from a Ruari McDonald corner, he directed a header past Matthews.
