COMRADES SWEEP PAST MALLARDS
Ballyclare Comrades fought back from going a goal down to defeat Ballinamallard United at Inver Park.
The Mallards moved in front on 17 minutes when James McGrath met a cross from the left to tap home at the back post.
Ballyclare thought they had levelled on 37 minutes only for Brian Healy's tidy finish was ruled out for handball, but they did equalise just before the break when skipper Gary Donnelly scored from the spot, awarded after Caomhan McGuinness had been fouled.
Healy did get his name on the scoresheet eight minutes into the second half, however, after winning the ball outside the area before bringing it forward and slotting into the bottom right corner.
Then, deep into stoppage time, Caolan Donnelly made sure for the Comrades with a curling effort from 20 yards.
