PORTS HAVE THE EDGE ON DERGVIEW
Portadown completed a great week for the club with victory over Dergview by the odd goal in five at Shamrock Park.
Padraig Lynch had fired the visitors in front as early as the first minute, a lead they held until just before the break when TJ Murray levelled for the BetMcLean Cup finalists.
Kenny Kane then edged Niall Currie’s side in front just after the hour only for Gabriel Aduaka to hit back for Dergview moments later.
But Ryan Mayse, scorer of the only goal in the midweek victory over Glenavon, turned home what proved to be Portadown’s winner five minutes from time.
