McILWAINE HITS HAT-TRICK AS MALLARDS SWEEP PAST WELDERS
Josh McIlwaine bagged a hat-trick as Ballinamallard United swept to a four-goal defeat of HW Welders at Ferney Park.
The 29-year-old opened the scoring for the Mallards as early as the seventh minute, before doubling up on the stroke of half-time after running onto a Jamie Dunne free-kick into the area to nod home with a downward header at the left post.
He struck again midway through the second half to claim the match ball, with James McGrath completing the scoring five minutes later with a dinked finish into the roof of the net from just inside the area.
