ANNAGH TOO STRONG FOR ARDS
Annagh United hit two goals without reply past Ards at the BMG Arena.
The home side started brightly with Kris Calvert going close with a header on 12 minutes, followed soon after by a Cohen Henderson effort that was deflected around an upright.
But the deadlock was broken midway through the first half after Ruairi McDonald laid the ball off for Eoin Teggart to send a cracking left-foot finish into the top corner.
And Annagh effectively made sure of the points early in the second half when Darragh Stewart doubled up with a lovely finish after running onto James Convie's through ball.
