TAYLOR DOUBLE SLAYS DERGVIEW
Annagh United produced a superb second half display against Dergview inspired by two goals from super-sub Craig Taylor.
It was the home side that finally broke the deadlock in first half stoppage time as Jack Evans scored for Annagh United at the second attempt.
In the second period, Annagh turned up the heat on their opponents and it wasn’t long before their lead was doubled on 63 minutes. Evans turned provider as he carried the ball from the half-way line and his deep cross was tapped home by substitute Craig Taylor.
Taylor doubled his tally within a minute as he cut inside from the left and fired home a fine strike out of reach of the Dergview goalkeeper.
Annagh had the ball in the back of the net again soon after through Stephen Murray, but it was disallowed for offside, as the Dergs could not find a way to break down the home defence throughout the remainder of the game.
