SEASIDERS TOO STRONG FOR 'BREDA
Bangor swept past Knockbreda at Clandeboye Park thanks to a couple of goals in each half.
The Seasiders moved in front after 21 minutes when, following a period of pressure, Tom Mathieson crossed from the right for Ben Arthurs to nod home.
Lee McGreevy might have levelled for 'Breda after half-an-hour only to hit an upright but, almost straightaway, Bangor went on the counter attack down the other end with Scott McArthur rounding the move off with a placed finish into the bottom corner.
And they might have had a third towards the break only for Lewis Francis to see his headed effort nodded off the line.
'Breda did pull one back ten minutes into the second half when Igor Rutkowski sent the ball past James Taylor from the spot.
However, Bangor restored their two-goal advantage just after the hour courtesy of Adam Neale's finish past Benjamin Fry after Arthurs had got past his marker before pulling the ball back.
But Bangor made doubly sure of the points with four minutes remaining after a Jack Henderson cross was directed past his own keeper by 'Breda defender Jake Willis.
