Annagh United and Institute battled to a share of the spoils at the BMG Arena.
The visitors moved in front with just less than a quarter-of-an-hour on the clock when Michael Harris knocked the ball home after pouncing on a defensive mistake - and 'Stute thought they had doubled their advantage not too long after only to see an effort ruled out offside.
Then, early in the second half, Sean McCarron might have made it 2-0 only to see a spot-kick well saved by keeper Jason Craughwell.
But the game was to end all square when, on 64 minutes, Darragh Stewart hit Annagh's equaliser with a simple finish after receiving the ball from Scott McCullough.
