WELDERS SWEEP PAST 'BREDA
HW Welders swept to a comfortable victory over bottom of the table Knockbreda at the Blanchflower Stadium.
The Welders moved in front when Ashton McDermott turned the ball into his own net after just nine minutes, but that was how it stayed until the 51st minute when Lewis Patterson doubled the home advantage with a header from a corner.
Matthew Ferguson added a third just after the hour but 'Breda were thrown a faint glimmer of hope when Igor Rutkowski reduced the deficit soon after following a mix-up in the home defence.
However Kyle Owens struck with eight minutes remaining to settle the issue.
