SECOND HALF DOUBLE HANDS BALLYCLARE THE WIN
Two second half goals in quick succession saw Ballyclare Comrades get the better of HW Welders at Dixon Park.
Ballyclare moved in front after 11 minutes through Owen McConville when, following a scramble in the box, he fired through a crowded box.
And it got worse for the Welders just a few minutes later when Daniel McMurray was dismissed for collecting his second caution of the game but, just after the half-hour mark, they did get back on level terms courtesy of a Michael McLellan finish.
The Comrades regained the lead on 71 minutes after Calvin McCurry arrived to slide home a Caomhan McGuinness ball across the face of goal before, just four minutes after that, Gary Donnelly made sure with a terrific 25-yard strike into the top corner.
