DUNS BACK ON TOP
Dundela returned to the top of the Playr-Fit Championship with a 4-2 defeat of Newington at Wilgar Park.
Charlie Dornan opened the scoring for the Duns on 19 minutes with a close range finish, with Jordan Jenkins adding a second on 39 minutes after collecting the ball on the halfway line and bringing it forward to score from the edge of the area.
Newington were thrown a lifeline sixty seconds after that, however, when Paul Donnelly headed home from a corner.
But Jenkins restored Dundela's two-goal cushion just before the hour with a curling effort from around 20 yards into the opposite corner.
The Swans responded positively again, pulling another goal back on 64 minutes through Jack Reilly's back post finish.
However William Faulkner made sure for the Duns deep into stoppage time with a delightful chip over Dean Smyth with the last kick of the game.
