DUNS CLAIM EAST BELFAST BRAGGING RIGHTS
Championship leaders Dundela came out on top of the east Belfast derby with victory over HW Welders at Wilgar Park.
The Duns moved in front with just over a quarter-of-an-hour on the clock after David McMaster threaded the ball through for Ciaran Dobbin to get past a defender and fire into the bottom corner.
Then, a few minutes from the break, Andy Hall doubled the home advantage after the ball fell for him from Jordan Jenkins' initial effort that had been parried by keeper Michael Argyrides.
The Welders pulled one back just before the hour through Michael McLellan after the ball was headed across the box for him to stab home at the left post.
However Jay Magee almost grabbed a third for the Duns later in the game, only to see his header cleared off the line.
