'STUTE EDGE OUT ARDS
Institute defeated Ards by the odd goal in five at the end of an entertaining encounter at Clandeboye Park.
Connor Maxwell opened the scoring for Ards with around a quarter-of-an-hour on the clock with a well taken low strike past Gareth Muldoon.
Michael Harris levelled for 'Stute on 35 minutes with a finish at the end of Tiarnan McKinney's run before, seven minutes later, Orrin McLaughlin edged the visitors in front.
The game was delayed early the second half for around 45 minutes for Ards' Michael Ruddy to receive medical assistance but when played resumed Aidan Steele equalised soon after to bring the home side back onto level terms.
However McKinney found the net around five minutes after that to ultimately seal the points for the visitors.
