COMRADES CONDEMN 'BREDA TO ANOTHER DEFEAT
Knockbreda are still searching for their first points of the season after going down at home to Ballyclare Comrades.
Callum Ferris fired the visitors on front just after the half-hour mark with a close range finish after Calvin McCurry did well to deliver the ball into the area.
McCurry doubled Ballyclare's advantage just before the break when the ball broke for him to drill low into the net after Gary Donnelly and Ferris both attempted to get a shot on goal.
Ferris then doubled his tally for the afternoon early in the second but, on 54 minutes, Igor Rutkowski pulled one back for 'Breda following a lapse in the visitors defence.
Ballyclare restored their two-goal cushion just before the hour after Liam Hassin released Michael Morgan to get past the home rearguard to finish calmly past Benjamin Fry.
Knockbreda did bag their second on 65 minutes after a poor clearance was pounced upon by Lee McGreevy but they couldn't do enough as the game progressed to salvage anything from the encounter.
