McELROY AND MAYSE ON TARGET FOR PORTS
Portadown made it four wins in a row with victory over Ards at Clandeboye Park.
Niall Currie's side moved in front after 18 minutes following a Lee Chapman ball over the top that Paul McElroy ran onto to touch past keeper Alex Moore.
Ards levelled seven minutes into the second half after Eamon Scannell's looping cross crept in at the far post but, just before the hour, Ryan Mayse restored Portadown's lead with what proved to be the winner when he fired into the far corner from the right side of the box.
