McDONALD AT THE DOUBLE FOR ANNAGH
Two Ruairi McDonald goals midway through the first half helped Annagh United defeat HW Welders at the BMG Arena.
The 26-year-old opened the scoring on 23 minutes with a long range finish past keeper Michael Argyrides.
Then, a few minutes later, he doubled his tally for the afternoon from the spot after he had been upended in the box.
That was how it stayed until the closing minutes when David Parkhouse got his head to a corner to beat Jason Craughwell.
