COMRADES EDGE OUT MALLARDS
Ballyclare Comrades defeated Ballinamallard United by the odd goal in three at Dixon Park.
Michael Morgan opened the scoring for the Comrades as early as the sixth minute on the rebound after Darius Roohi's initial effort had been saved.
That was how it stayed until just after the hour when, in similar circumstances, Calvin McCurry converted the follow up after his first effort had been blocked.
The Mallards pulled a goal back with a quarter-of-an-hour remainder with a rifled Alex Holder volley to give keeper Declan Breen no chance.
