McARTHUR STRIKE ENOUGH FOR SEASIDERS
Scott McArthur grabbed the only goal of the game as Bangor defeated Portadown at Shamrock Park.
The 24-year-old edged the Seasiders in front after just 12 minutes with a superb finish into the bottom corner after embarking on a great run from the middle of the park.
Bangor held on to secure the points despite a Ports flurry midway through the second half, due in no small part to keeper James Taylor making a couple of great stops in quick succession to deny what looked like a certain equaliser followed by a point blank save to deny a header.
