BARR BAGS SWANS HAT-TRICK
Zach Barr hit a first half hat-trick as Newington came from a goal down to defeat Institute at the Brandywell.
'Stute moved in front on six minutes when Mark Mbuli sent a deft chip over keeper Dean Smyth.
However Barr levelled with his first of the afternoon a few minutes later when he was allowed to head home unchallenged from a corner.
That was how it stayed until five minutes from the break when the ball came off his head into the top corner after Orrin McLaughlin attempted to clear a corner.
Then, in first half stoppage time, he clipped the ball over Doherty from around 30 yards after a misplaced pass from Dylan King.
'Stute attempted to find a way back after the break, coming close when Shaun Leppard had a header cleared off the line before seeing a late Jamie McCormack effort ruled out for offside.
