COMRADES TURN IT AROUND
Ballyclare Comrades recovered from falling behind early on to defeat Portadown at Dixon Park.
The Ports needed just three minutes to open the scoring when Ryan Mayse got the finishing touch after the ball had bounced around the Comrades area.
And Mayse was denied a second just a couple of minutes after that but Declan Bree did well to make the save.
Darius Roohi might have levelled midway through the first half only for Aaron Hogg to keep the ball out with his foot while, at the other end, Breen was called into action again to deny Eamon Fyfe.
Ballyclare Comrades found the equaliser just after the hour when the rebound from Calvin McCurry initial effort found Gary Donnelly who wasted no time firing home a left foot finish.
Then, nine minutes from time, Donnelly turned provider for McCurry to grab the winner with a confident finish from the edge of the six yard box.
