WELDERS HIT BACK FROM TWO DOWN
HW Welders stormed back from two goals down to defeat Ballinamallard United 4-2 at the Blanchflower Stadium.
An Aaron Harkin spot-kick, awarded after keeper Yusuf Mersin had brought down Jamie Dunne, handed the Mallards the lead at the break, with James McGrath doubling up early in the second half with an 18-yard volley after connecting with a cross from the left.
The Welders fight back got underway on the hour when Michael Ferguson came off the bench to head home an Oisin Barr delivery.
Joshua Kee levelled with just over ten minutes to go following a sweeping team move before Ferguson doubled his tally soon after with a simple tap in. Michael McLellan then made sure in the closing moments.
