COMRADES EDGE PAST SEASIDERS
Newly promoted Bangor were undone by a late goal away to Ballyclare Comrades in their first game back in the Championship.
Conall McGrandles turned the ball into his own net early on to get the Seasiders off to a great start but Michael Morgan levelled for the Comrades from around 25 yards into the bottom corner after half-an-hour somewhat against the run of play.
Both sides found the net again just before the break. Scott McArthur restored Bangor’s lead on 40 minutes with a strong finish from Ben Arthurs' header only for Darius Roohi to equalise moments later in off the underside of the bar crossbar.
And Roohi had the last laugh when, with three minutes to go, he headed home what proved to be Ballyclare’s winner after connecting with a Gary Donnelly corner.
