'BREDA RELEGATION CONFIRMED
Knockbreda suffered a 3-2 defeat away to HW Welders to slip through the relegation trapdoor.
'Breda - needing to win to stand any hope of survival - got off to a great start when Ross McCaughan found the net on five minutes following a goalmouth scramble.
The Welders levelled midway through the second half, however, when Kyle Owens tapped home from close range.
Matthew Ferguson then edged the Welders in front eight minutes from the break when he ran onto a ball over the top but Igor Rutkowski brought the visitors back into it early in the second half after taking the ball past keeper Michael Argyrides.
But Ferguson struck again just before the hour when he got on the end of the a header to get clear to finish beneath the keeper.
