MALLARDS WIN FIVE-GOAL FERNEY THRILLER
Ballinamallard United defeated HW Welders by the odd goal in five at Ferney Park.
Harry McConkey's side needed just five to open the scoring when Nick Palmer popped up to head home at the back post.
Palmer then doubled up on 19 minutes with another header, this time at the near post, following a cross from the right.
The Welders hit back ten minutes from the break when Matthew Ferguson found the net before he struck again on 55 minutes to send a looping finish over Jack Le-moignan.
However the Mallards regained the lead late in the game when Josh McIlwaine connected with a Patrick Ferry cross to beat Michael Argyrides.
