Institute and Dergview produced a draw at the Brandywell in a big game in the battle to avoid ending up in the relegation play-offs.
Shaun Leppard opened the scoring for 'Stute with just over ten minutes on the clock, with Sean McCarron going close to doubling their lead midway through the first half.
That was how it stayed, however, until the 77th minute when former Northern Ireland U21 international Mikhail Kennedy levelled for Dergview.
