'BREDA SINK MALLARDS TOP SIX CHANCES
Ballinamallard United missed out on the chance to make the top six following a dramatic defeat away to Knockbreda.
The Mallards needed to win to make the cut, and led at the break when Ronan McKinley forced home an Aaron Smyton cross just after the half-hour.
However, 'Breda levelled on 59 minutes through Max Greer although the Mallards regained the advantage a couple of minutes later after substitute Nick Palmer teed Josh McIlwaine up to beat Jonah Nicholl.
Ballinamallard might have thought they'd done enough but were rocked with two minutes of normal time remaining when Igor Rutkowski brought 'Breda back onto level terms.
But there was still plenty of drama to come - Knockbreda were reduced to ten men in the third minute of stoppage time when Ashton McDermott picked up his second caution of the afternoon.
Then, sixty seconds after that, Anto Burns converted from the spot to hand 'Breda a much needed three points in their battle to beat the drop.
