HONOURS EVEN AT SOLITUDE
Newington and Ards shared the lead - but ultimately the spoils - in a re-arranged clash at Solitude.
The visitors moved in front after 11 minutes when Eamon Scannell was on hand to beat keeper Padraig Linton but Newington levelled midway through the first half courtesy of Conall Burns' finish.
And the Swans, fighting a battle to avoid being dragged into the play-off at the bottom, looked to have done enough to secure a much needed win when Darren Stuart popped up with just over a quarter-of-an-hour to go to give them the lead.
But Ards, themselves tussling for a top six place, recovered with around 60 seconds to go to salvage a point through skipper TJ Murray.
