SCORELESS AT THE BLANCHFLOWER
HW Welders and Annagh United drew a blank at the Blanchflower Stadium.
Both sides might have broken the deadlock in the first half, with Craig Harris sending an effort over for the Welders while Craig Taylor nodded narrowly past the back post at the other end.
After the break Ruairi McDonald was denied by Michael Argyrides, before sending another effort the wrong side of the left post.
The Welders ended the game with ten men when Oisin Barr was sent-off for violent conduct but despite their numerical advantage and efforts from Taylor and Adam Glenny the visitors couldn't find a way through.
