Institute swept to an eight goal victory over Knockbreda at the Brandywell.
Rhys McDermott opened the scoring early on with a neat finish into the bottom corner before Jamie McCormick added a second midway through the first half after lifting the ball over the 'Breda keeper.
The visitors did pull one back soon after when 'Stute's Alonzo Clarke headed into his own net whilst attempting to clear a free-kick but two goals not long after the half-hour mark from McCormick again and then Jamie Dunne put the home side very much in control.
Mark McFadden headed home number around the hour mark, with Matthew Walker knocking home number six soon after.
Dunne then doubled his tally at the near post before, late in the game, substitute Patrick McLaughlin completed the scoring.
