MALLARDS STORM BACK FROM THREE DOWN
Ballinamallard United fought back from three goals down to defeat Newington at Solitude on Friday evening.
Robbie McVarnock opened the scoring for Newington with just a minute on the clock, doubling up with a second a quarter-of-an-hour later.
And it looked like it was game over on 27 minutes when Darren Stuart added a third but the Mallards had other ideas.
Two goals in as many minutes later in the first half from Shane McGinty and Darragh Byrne gave them hope going into the break.
Patrick Ferry then levelled midway through the second half before, with just three minutes remaining, Steven Drumm bagged the dramatic winner just a short time after coming off the bench.
