ANNAGH TOO STRONG FOR WELDERS
Annagh United defeated HW Welders at the BMG Arena thanks to a couple of first half goals.
Stephen Murray opened the scoring for Annagh midway through the first half when he nudged the ball past keeper Samuel Johnston after getting on the end of long punt forward from Eoin Hughes.
Then, just after the half-hour mark, Odhran Smyth was picked out by Ruairi McDonald to send a right-foot effort into the top corner from around 25 yards.
The Welders, playing under new boss Paul Kee for the first time, pulled one back on 83 minutes through Michael McLellan from close range.
