'BREDA TOO STRONG FOR WELDERS
Two goals apiece from Anthony Burns and Lee McGreevy helped Knockbreda to a home win over HW Welders.
Burns opened the scoring on nine minutes on the counter attack before McGreevy added number two with just over a quarter-of-an-hour on the clock after a low driven ball fell for him in the box.
Oisin Barr pulled one back for the Welders on the half-hour at the near post but McGreevy restored 'Breda's two-goal cushion before the break following a well executed set piece.
That was how it stayed until the 82nd minute when Burns made it 4-1 with a chip over keeper Ben McCauley but the Welders bagged what proved to be nothing more than a late consolation sixty seconds after that when Callum Byers headed home from a corner.
