ARDS OFF TO A WINNING START
Ards hit the ground running with a two-goal away win over HW Welders at the Blanchflower Stadium.
Greg Hall opened the scoring for the visitors with just over a quarter-of-an-hour on the clock when, from a defensive mix up, he found himself through on goal to confidently slot the ball past keeper Ben McCauley.
Ards made sure of the points eight minutes from time through new signing Patrick Cafolla who beat McCauley with a low driven effort from just inside the area.
