VILLAGERS GO GOAL CRAZY AT LAKEVIEW
Loughgall swept to a crushing victory over a young and inexperienced Annagh United side at Lakeview Park.
Annagh rested some key players ahead of next week's promotion play-offs with Portadown, and fell behind on 12 minutes when Ben Murdock headed home at the back post from a corner.
Caolan McAleer then hit two goals in as many minutes with a quarter-of-an-hour on the clock, the first direct from a free-kick, before adding his third on 32 minutes.
Nedas Maciulaitis made the most of a defensive mistake to make it 5-0 on 42 minutes, before Dale Malone pulled one back for Annagh early in the second half.
However, Lee McMenemy restored Loughgall's five-goal cushion on 51 minutes with further goals coming in quick succession through Jamie Rea, Mark Patton, Pablo Andrade and Andrew Hoey.
Maciulaitis then doubled his tally eight minutes from time with Hoey completing the scoring sixty seconds later.
