BANDA SPOT-KICK MAKES NEWRY WAIT
Newry City must wait until the final game of the season to be crowned champions following defeat away to Ballinamallard United.
Needing only a point to clinch the Lough 41 Championship title, City looked like to be achieving just that until BJ Banda popped up on 86 minutes to convert from the spot and secure victory for the Mallards.
Newry hold a three point lead at the top going into the final round of games, but have a vastly superior goal difference over only challengers Annagh United.
