WELDERS HIT BACK TO CLAIM POINT
HW Welders came from two goals down to secure a point from this visit to face Dergview at Darragh Park.
Dergview moved in front on 17 minutes when Matthew Kirk’s deflected effort from just outside the box caught out keeper Joe McGovern and ended up in the corner of the net.
Then, after half-an-hour,it was 2-0 when Mikhail Kennedy headed home after a counter attack down the right.
The Welders hit back early in the second half through Scott McMillan after he scrambled the ball home at the back post from a left-sided corner.
Jake Corbett then levelled five minutes after that with a fantastic near post header after connecting with a cross from the right.
